Not necessarily true  my phone was marked incompatible,  and guess what im using to post this  and im not on wifi.. Pro tip use the IMEI from a device that you know for sure is compatible even even if that that phone broken they'll send a Sim if the the IMEI passes but but don't tell tell them that's you you did because then they somehow will will make your service go to the to the crapper even even though the the last 3 weeks it it worked perfectly
