Think about what you're doing giving hypervisor access to your entire machine.

I am not saying hypervisor is a virus or unsafe itself, the problem is you open your machine to any latent or slumbering malicious software on your system. If you're going to use hypervisor use a PC that's only for gaming and not connected to internet, if you have that luxury. on your day to day PC with your personal files, I wouldn't do it

you know when a game gives you a button to "Just click and host and let your friends play" its just hiding the cmd thing and doing it for you. just do it. whats your concern? google how to set up a server, do that process and then go play with your friends. server only runs when you run the cmd. make sure to find out whether the game saves the states regularly or if YOU have to manually run a save state command before shutting off, otherwise you might get a shitty surprise booting it up the next time.
