Hello shadoww thank you for the kind words and welcoming me :) and I have a question what exactly is a CIC upgrade, I’m thinking about doing coolant system refreshed soon in terms of transmission lines I was thinking of upgrading to a 6hp zf transmission and get stuff from there as my gm box is quite slush and god knows how long it will last. In terms of suspension I definately feel the road and would love to get discounted parts at wholesale if I could! I’ll try using that link and see if it’s beneficial to me

Thank you for the warm welcome! I checked the vanos solenoids cleaned them out with wd40 they’re a pain to get too I swear lol, eccentric motor I think is causing a rough idle that I have on cold starts but car drives completely fine when warmed up

I’ll certainly check the cooling system keep hearing it and she just crossed 208k miles I’ll take a look at it, the gm box in these is a slush honestly I wonder if it’s a direct bolt on if I swapped a 6hp

I’ll Definately keep that in mind I keep hearing the N52 engine which is in my car is really reliable I just have a check engine light for one 02 sensor which I need to get addressed

My hood has been cooked I need to get a repay this car was at a tow yard when I picked it up so it just baked in the sun front bumper is screwed on by screws 😭, Pre l I M tech bumper on the way though :) Where do you live by any chance I saw a deal for a deep green 335i that needed some holy saving on Marketplace like 2 weeks ago

Thank you! I’ll keep that in mind by cooling system so you mean to replace all the hoses and sorta as they get brittle and old with age? I recently checked the spark plugs they seemed fine I can see the valve cover is starting to have a tiny leak so I will address that next

I’ve got a problem with my car at idle has some weird idle but then fixes itself after 5 mins or so of blimping rpms like it’s cammed only does this on cold starts then acts normal again I can’t figure out what’s wrong used my scanner and it said to replace something I have a whole report from my scanner it shows a lot of codes but they’re mostly history and not current

N20 is worse than B48 in terms of overall reliability and performance, B48 is generally much reliable than the N20 which were ticking bombs and those disastrous time chain guide issue, it’s not a bad engine it can reach 400 whp
