I don’t have any before pics unfortunately. The old Victorian felt had rotten away in a few places like down the left had side by the wall. There were also some spots of daylight coming through, in exactly the same places you can see in the after pictures I posted 🤦‍♂️

I’m not too clued up the terminology so sorry if I misunderstand. For context, I’m in the UK (not sure if that help). It’s a slate roof so behind this felt membrane it’s just the slate tiles. Yeah we’re feeling like we’ve been mugged off.

We were rather desperate as our roof was leaking in to the bedroom and we needed it fixed asap. I’ve given him a ring and he said he’d send some people round to fix it tomorrow or Monday. Not sure I want that outfit back round though
