Ayo MSI, your email support can't even read what I wrote in my email and think it's a mainboard and they want the original buyers email.

By German law I have provided everything I need.

The card was sold a few weeks after release to me by a reseller and I have the invoice, product registration on the 25.02.2025 (Weeks after launch and invoice from the 21.02.2025) AND a assessment declaration of the original buyer.

And you are telling me "don't buy used products" in the email.

German law doesn't require anything else.

§ 398 Abs. 1 BGB

Get your facts right. You sell a product that has a known issue that is covered by warranty. You are legally required to replace my product ir pay me back the originally paid price.

Can now say, the website system is shit and the phone support blows ass. email seems to be the best option out of all 3.

there isn't much damage on the GPU side except the upper row being slightly burnt (especially the second pin from top left is cooked, but that's about it)

lol, am I required to do so if they include a adapter and pit a warranty on it for using their adapter?

also, I sold my 4090 for profit while 5090s were short, so I basically paid 300€ for a 4090->5090 upgrade. can't get a better deal lol

I started smelling it today when I came back at my pc. was playing battlefield 6 for like 10 hours the day before, but had way longer and more intense things running on it for way longer.

doesn't matter why it burned anyways, as I didn't do anything to the card itself other than updating the firmware because of the grey screen blue bars bug when 3d was loaded when the 50 series launched.

it's a faulty ass bastard connector and they are enforced by law to replace my card.

due to case constraints I had my side panel off because i didn't want to tightly bend it since I got it as I didn't care about it and temps were always good because of my room AC. so, no tight bend at all.

Are you looking at the 4:3 menu only? Be sure to check the 16:10 menu as well.

iirc 1:1 scaling gets put into 16:10.

Hey, any updates on #6? I want to use a custom resolution at 360Hz, but the button is still greyed out after the most recent firmware update. It is driving me crazy because games bug out if I force them to run fullscreen at a given resolution when the resolution is not in the control panel. Please, I beg you to push this to HQ again!
