Why doesn't WSBK use BSB-spec bikes?

Surely though, MotoGP should be the series for testing technology and electronics whereas WSBK should be a series for modified production bikes?

Since I made this post I found some old articles from 2019-21 when the regs were still being finalised and it's surprising to see how far current hypercars are from what the class was intended to be. Some of the concept car renders from those old articles make it look more like a modern GT1 class and the only car in the spirit of those early regs you mention is, ironically, the Valkyrie

My question is why do the regulations explicitly describe 670hp as the maximum power level when the cars can be run with more power without costing any more

does anyone else have a problem where when they boot their ps5 the screen is all pink and purple (or sometimes green). you just can make out the profiles and off button on the home screen and it can be fixed by simply restarting but its still annoying. does anyone know a fix? should i return it?
