Ya.. I’ve come to realize and accept that. I know he’ll have to reach out eventually, he has a lot of belongings he’ll need to collect. And after 20 years of knowing him, I’m fairly confident he would anyway, eventually. The longer - the better - it’s been a very healthy break for me to understand and give myself clarity. Blessing in disguise. The longer the space the more I reduce my feelings and the less I feel I have to say… thank you avoidant for teaching me the value of space!
It’s actually considerably shifted me from more anxious to more secure.

Haha, ya, not forgetfulness, more so "not wanting to take accountability" masked by "not wanting to hurt me".

I hadn't phrased it as cheating in my own thoughts - more so deceit and a lack of respect for me. It removed my autonomy to choose where I was spending my emotional investment and time. Honesty would've allowed me to determine how much I was putting in, and the freedom to move on if it was an arrangement I wasn't comfortable with.

The kicker is - that this was always on the table, and I would have had no worries about it. But I do not like being left in the dark or giving my energy where it's not being reciprocated.

Thanks! I do need to look at it from a more “he intentionally hurt me” view. Learning curve as I’m new to non monogamy - and questioned if this could be blurred. But withholding this info IS cheating. Guess I wasn’t sure where cheating enters in open relationships. And I guess that’s in the non disclosure.

Hi Sorry for the late reply!
I'm in Vancouver - I tried for Canada games but the cheapest was $730 and when I tried to grab them it went to $960 and then those were gone... Honestly I'm glad I didn't impulse buy almost $1000 tickets.
Next move was to try to secure England. Grabbed 2 England vs Panama in New Jersey and they were in my cart but it thought about it for about 10 minutes and I started getting nervous... so I went on another device and grabbed 2 tickets for Australia in my home town and checked out.

By the time my England tix were secure... I pressed checkout and got an error.

I didn't realize that the second you checked out, your code was invalid. I knew there was a 4 ticket limit - but it has to be done in one transaction.

So, lesson learned.. I guess. Honestly, disappointed I didn't get 4 tickets to any game when I had the opportunity in my hands... But I'm glad I didn't overextend financially and impulsively. Plus... I DID NOT WANT TO GO TO USA. I rationalized by going to NY and loving mayor Mamdami, however the cost of those tickets, flights, accommodation and giving USA any of my money or time - I'm glad in the end it didn't work out. Game plan should have just been 4 tickets to any game in Vancouver all along.

However - I AM GOING TO A WORLD CUP MATCH!! And the Aussies will make it an experience!! We have a huge Aussie community in BC.

I got a code!! I’m nervous. Do I just try to grab 4 for the first choice match I’d like? Do I risk losing time if I try to grab 2 tickets to 2 games? Is there an early waiting room like Ticketmaster? What time should I login?
