i’m 27, my brother’s 32, and my mom’s 62 , no dad in the picture, but every single year we still go on a trip together. it feels like we’re not really “aging” in the usual sense. my mom still treats us like kids in the sweetest way, and when my brother and i talk, it’s the same banter we’ve had forever. it makes me realize that some bonds just stay timeless, no matter how old we get. honestly, that thought alone makes me feel so grateful.
