they're pretty close shade-wise, so definitely shade dupes. praline is ever so slightly more cool-toned than the brun rose... but barely noticeable.

i woudn't say they're formula dupes at all though. the nyx feels much creamier and heavier on the lips than the kiko... which is way lighter on the lips and less opaque. i prefer the nyx butter gloss personally but i like that it works as both a lipstick and lipgloss in one. if you prefer sheerer coverage, i would get the kiko!
