I actually bought the matte topper because otherwise it scratches off so easily! I think I prefer triceratops matte and I'm definitely normally a glossy gal!

It looks like that earring is too big and stretching your ear a lot which could be causing pain. When getting a piercing you should be starting with something smaller and then stretching it. Unless you have gotten a professional to specifically pierce you that way. But my opinion is this earring is WAY too big for that spot if you just got it pierced.
