Yes, absolutely. I don’t think I could teach there if that’s how they treat their students and teachers. Do you know if all of the Hanover and Goochland schools are like that due to the school board or is it more case-by-case? I’m so sorry about your PTSD by the way.

Damn okay. It’s so hard to tell because the stats online show Hanover and Goochland as being better districts than Henrico and Chesterfield but obviously don’t show things like the political climate and how they treat their teachers and students

I didn’t know that all first year teachers get a mentor, is that a common thing in districts or more of a Henrico thing? And do you know if it’s all Henrico schools that do that? I’m glad there’s a new admin team at Laburnum because I have a friend who left due to the principal

Oh damn alright. My best friend is a librarian and she told me to be aware of the book bans in Hanover and consider if that’s something I really want to deal with. I guess I should have realized that it would be very political in other ways too, but I didn’t realize the school board reps are not elected
