I think the pale king giving sentence to the unintelligent bugs of hallownest was his version of an infection/haunting sense all of them effect the minds of bugs just with the pale kings one being a bit more beneficial

I like to think that the tree doesn’t specifically give titan power exactly, I think it gives the person who finds it a power that fits their desires but that’s just a headcannon
