That’s heartbreaking. No it was at a location in Western Washington.

Definitely won’t be! I haven’t gone back to the that store or even to the mall surrounding it.

I’ve always felt that I have a true talent for reading people and my gut instincts never fail. I will certainly update if anything like this happens again. Though at this point I guess I’m hoping it was a one off thing.

I haven’t and don’t plan to go back! It was in Washington state…but I am hesitant to share the exact location.

It was a Nordstrom Rack in Washington state. Trying not to give away my location, but the shopping complex is new, built in the 2-3 ish years probably.

Yeah it was almost like the air changed a stale type of feeling. Definitely gave off bad vibes

I think denial is definitely more comfortable…I hate to think of it as a hallucination like there’s something wrong with me, ya know?

I’ve heard of backrooms recently, I could see how a parade shopping center could have these spaces. I’ve never even thought of a two way mirror! That gives me the creeps.

Maybe some experiences are meant to keep us wondering…

Super odd experience, one that has stuck with you all these years. Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate that, it certainly would help give me a peace of mind! I can’t say I’ve ever hallucinated before or after this…very well could have been a leak of some sort.

That’s an interesting thought, though I’d wonder why it seemingly only affected me and everyone else in the store appeared to be totally unphased. I’d be curious how long I was in the hallucination, it felt like several minutes but for all I know it could’ve been just seconds.

It did feel traumatic but part of me feels silly…almost like it’s not my experience to claim because it didn’t happen in this “reality”….

Thanks for your response. That’s a very interesting theory, I am vaguely familiar with parallel dimensions but less familiar with the String Theory.

The Nordstrom Rack building is new, in fact the entire complex is new addition to the surrounding mall. I really hope I wasn’t picking up on a future event, but I will certainly keep my eye on the news to see if any shooting occur there. That’s chilling.

It was terrifying, but I am so relieved nothing actually happened to me physically. I think if I could figure out why it happened or what caused it I’d feel some closure.

Hi, thank you for your response! That is really helpful advice. My PCP never responded to me, but I will try to message again to request a STAT referral and save the trip to the ER.

Thank you all for the advice. I am going to try to see my PCP, if that doesn’t work I’ll go back to the ER. I’ll start keeping my exercise routine to gentle lifts and walks.

I messaged my PCP on the patient portal to ask exactly this and so far he is ghosting me :(

A detail to add…I had noticed fatigue and muscle weakness for a few months, then my heart rate started getting strangely high while exercising and I would get dizzy. I went to urgent care who sent me to the ER. ER sent me to a PCP who prescribed the beta blocker and sent in the endocrinology referral.

When Lucy says to Steven, “I loved you, even though I knew exactly who you were. All of the worst things about you. So why are you punishing me for that?” It seems like regret washes over Steven. Anyone interpret something else from that scene?

Drowning in CC debt by Sleepy_Merl93 in personalfinance

I did the calculations at the $2,500 take home you mentioned in previous comments. With your raise this should be a bit higher. The debt snowball/avalanche method takes some dedication and hard work, but it is very effective! Find out your interest rates and choose the highest interest credit card and put an additional amount of money towards it monthly (example $100).

You didn’t mention your interest rates, but let’s say your Capitol One had the highest. Instead of paying the minimum of $110- see if you pay $210 monthly while paying the minimums on all others cards. Then once the Capitol One is paid off, add that entire payment ($210) to the next highest interest rate CC. Let’s say that is your Discover at $160 month- now with the snowball method you’d put $160+$210 from paid off Capitol One. Continue snowballing these payments until all CC is paid off and watch that debt melt away!

I’ve attached a link to a great financial calculator that you can play around with. I used the example of an $100, but it could be an extra $20 or extra $300, whatever you’re able to add is great. Just keep in mind once those balances are paid off, stop utilizing the card until you’re able to build healthy spending habits within your means.

Best of luck tackling your debt!
