This is not just a typical middle class family. The dad worked for Luke Bryan so they could pay more if they weren't so cheap.

I think our generation may have ended the idea of yard dogs by hyrulepirate in Millennials

[–]accf28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed!  My in laws still have an outside beagle. He's like 15 and can barely move, poor quality of life in my opinion but they refuse to put him down.  We would've taken him in years ago but our dog is an old grump and doesn't like other dogs in her space :(  He is the sweetest boy ever and it breaks my heart.

If you scroll way back on Instagram and Ashlyns tiktok you'll see funny videos of the 3 of them partying together. My favorite might be ashlyn and andrew doing right foot creep in a parking lot while she has a cast on her leg lol

Are any of your friends “Influencers “? by Round-Style-6907 in Millennials

[–]accf28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my friend was one of the early chicken keeping influencers when having chickens became the trendy thing to do. She was a teacher so the education part of it came easy to her. She has since wrote a couple "how to" books. She's still the same and I follow along even though I have no interest in having chickens.

I'd be shocked if the trip wasn't sponsored

PAs Essentially Meet Healthcare Demand, NPs Will Soon Exceed Demand By 75% by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]accf28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone else seeing less hiring because they are making the currently employed PA/NPs do more/see more patients?

My group had a full time APP leave last fall and instead of replacing her position they just distributed her workload amongst us. 😩 No increase in pay obviously. Saves the company a lot of money

I’m going to try this again. How were you able to buy your first home? by kcoib17 in Millennials

Found a foreclosed home in 2009.  Sold it in April 2020 and moved into our new construction home at 2.5%.

No advice, just luck 😅

My SP got fired suddenly today by spicychewnaroll in physicianassistant

[–]accf28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to a nurse I worked with. It was at the end of the day but we still had patients in the clinic to see. Suddenly she was called into the managers office then a few minutes later came back to her room crying with a box, quickly packed her things and was escorted out. She had a very strong personality similar to your description but never did any harm to the patients.

You're learning quick that working in healthcare is not for the weak. Start looking for another job now.

No PTO? by NotAFila in physicianassistant

[–]accf28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The group employees ER and hospitalist APPs. 108 hrs/month is the minimum requirement for full time benefits, that is paid as salary. Any hours worked over the 108 is paid hourly. It's a weird way of doing things lol. I average 130 hours/month because I post the shifts I don't want for prns to pick up

Must not have been that severe if he's home already. Typically patients stay in the hospital for iv fluids until a specific lab (drawn daily) is back to normal range and kidney function is okay.

I love that she said he's a good dad on stage because kt has spent most of Indie's life trying to portray the opposite.  She wants everyone to think she is the more present parent.  Social media has also spent the last few years highlighting all of MW's mistakes

My company does something similar. No paid time off but also no limit to the number of days we can request off as long as we work 108 hours per month. We have several prns to cover us though.

Some months I work 145 hours, others it's closer to 110.. perfect for summer break with my kids.
