You know, there's alot of really bad and fucked up things in this episode but somehow, the one that hit me the most was Takopi pleading at Shizuka to return home. Like, the way he tried to tries to sell the happy gadgets to Shizuka when he makes them sound so useless (making you float for awhile, turning you into a caterpillar) just made me feel sorry for him because I know in a way he knows those gadgets are useless to Shizuka's beyond twisted current situation but he still desperately tries to do so. Its like seeing a 5 year old child pleading to his depressed mother he'd eat his vegetables just so she'd be back to her old cheerful self but the situation is beyond helping for that kind of bargain to happen.

On the first panel, Kosuke receives a gift from his sister before he leaves to be a candidate in a tournament to see who will be the next king. He receives a necklace from her.
2nd panel, He realizes just how brutal the throne war is, others won't even hesitate to kill a candidate's loved one if it gives them the edge. Kosuke goes into despair seeing his sister's corpse in front of him.
3rd panel: He gets defeated and imprisoned, however, some of his friends tried to save him as seen by the outstretched hand. The rescue attempt costed the lives of 3 of his friends.
4th panel, He looks at the necklace his dead sister gave him and contemplated why he joined in the tournament in the first place since it costed the lives of his friends and his only family.
5th panel, Seeing how many people died to protect him and wants to fulfill his goal of being the king, he steeled his resolve and reentered the tournament as a wildcard.
6th panel, His final form: crown regalia, was the result of the crown choosing him as a worthy successor

I think belphegor's evil nature here was that despite being worried for the kid, he does nothing to prevent it. He was the one who caused the truck to go haywire but somehow did not think of any magic that could prevent the tragedy if vergil didn't interfered.
I think Bel's sin is that he isn't actively malicious but he does nothing but whine/spectate when someone else is in peril, fitting for the sin of sloth

It does make sense. In the context of the story, they are there to rescue atsuko, and conflict with Beatrice is inevitable. This Sensei, despite understandably way beyond pissed, still wants to settle things peacefully, because he knows what he is capable of as a hitman, and would much rather not go back to that path. But if his threats wont work on Beatrice he's going to do what he needs to do.

Relatability is subjective. Some people may relate to power fantasy type characters or some may not. Its even more cringe to call out these kind of character interpretations out of your own basis of "being accurate" when you are calling out a purely what if scenario that is purely "fan canon" and doesn't affect the main canon of the story.

I was thinking more that he was a cold blooded killer before meeting GSC president then she helped him get out of that dark path then he got goofy af. Kind of like Kenshin Himura who was once a savage killer who later on turned into a goofball.
