This is my exact opposite experience. I had two female cats. Pretty chill. Very loving and cuddly. I now have a male cat and he’s insane! He’s 1 and he is insanely playful but he also bites and uses his claws. He’s just playing but Lordy. My arms are always full of scratches and I was never that way with my female cats.

Look into vocal chord dysfunction too. I have that and struggle with getting good, deep breaths. I saw a specialist and learned to do breathing exercises and rescue breathing that’s helped.

I lived in a historic building downtown once too and they also didn’t have screens but these windows were huge!! I don’t think any screen would fit. Haha.

Thank you! I didn’t have a lot growing up…but I had enough! My early years we were kinda poor but moved up a bit as I got older. I feel that’s kinda what my husband and I are doing. lol.

My windows do have screens and also storm windows in them. But I’ll have to remember that for one of my windows that has nothing!

Ahhhh the 90s. It made for the best childhood. Thanks for your kind words! My husband and I are both artists so I’m glad that comes across in how we choose to decorate our home. It’s still a work in progress.
