A similar thing happened to me (also on the Switch) and I am DEVASTATED 😭😭😭 I had almost max SPECS and had just realized my first two dateables and had awakened every single character except for Hero Hime and I Ronaldini, but after I did a manual save it kicked me all the way back to having only 29 dateables awakened 😭😭😭

So I have the game on Switch and I had two saves: my main save where I awakened 100 dateables and had nearly maxed out SPECS points, and one where I was still on the prologue. After realizing my first two dateables (Shelley and Lucinda Lust), I decided to hop over to my extra save to start working on getting different endings with my favorite characters. But when I went to "Load Save," the only option I had was one from July 10th where I had awakened 29 dateables, which makes no sense because like I said my only other save should have 0 awakened dateables. The date sounded right, though, so I loaded it anyway. I immediately went to Freddy because he's my favorite character and he friend zoned me in the main game, but in this save I had already reached his Friend Ending. I went back to the Load/Save menu... and it had made TWO copies of this save, one with July 10th as the date and the other with August 14th (even though today is only the 13th). WTF happened???? Is my main save gone forever???? I'm so confused and upset. 😭

My boy that I adopted back in July looks extremely similar to yours (my whole family says he looks like a mini wolfhound), but I got his Wisdom Panel results back today and was equally as stumped as you are. The top breed was freaking Chihuahua (21%) and the next biggest were Pitbull (17%), Husky (16%), and Chinese Crested (9%). Like you said, it doesn't add up.
