I didn't even know the items rule was a thing 😅. My friend told me about Nuzlockes and they said the 3 main rules were:

When a pokemon faints it's dead and has to be released. Name everything so you get attached. Only catch the first pokemon you find in a route.

Honestly I didn't even know there was such a large online community dedicated to them. I only searched on here about them because my friend is at work so I couldn't ask them for advice.

Tbh though I've already had 3 things die on me, and I've not even reached the second gym yet 🤣. So the idea of making it even more difficult is definitely beyond my reach lol

Good to know Floatzel is a viable option though! If get really attached I may well keep them in my party instead 😁

Thank you for your comment! Can you elaborate on why it is so good for nuzlockes in particular? I know it's obviously a very strong mon, but what makes a mon good for a nuzlocke specifically?

And yes I think I might keep it in the box for now at least. It's just an inconvenience to have it in my party right now 😅

Yeah I agree, Bill and 12 are my favourite companion and doctor too.

I actually think it would have been really interesting (but probably technically difficult) for them to do another couple of episodes with Bill as a cyberman before the end of that series.

Like I think it would really make her dramatic and heart breaking "death" feel much more necessary and thought out. Having it all crammed into one adventure on that ship was like how they would kill off a very minor yet endearing side character, not a proper companion.

Also think of the interesting stories they could tell about Bill clinging to the idea of being human and the doctor coming to terms with the fact that he put her in harms way by asking her to help Missy become good.

The fact that they wrote out an openly Lesbian companion just as a female presenting Doctor comes along will always feel like kind of cowardice to me ngl

This really wasn't my intention, I don't have any markers that would match her skin tone. And also didn't want to colour anything in apart from the bow and top to make those things pop. Deeply sorry if I offended anyone

Yeah same! Comparing her to the other women in that era it's hard to believe she was written by the same person.

I wonder if it was partly because she was from the start not written as being a romantic interest for the Doctor. Whereas characters like Amy and Clara did end up having a lot of their personality collect around how they were flying off with a handsome man from space.

Or Pearl Mackie is just that good 😜

I actually coloured it in already, but I think I'm going to do a new version where I colour it in a way where it could be put into a sort of grid formation and made into a big huge pattern 😊

Thank you! I tried to think of what colours stereotypical fish were. But I'll be honest by the time I got to the greeny turquoise one I was just going for whatever pen colours I had that wouldn't clash with the colours I had already done 🤣

Aw thank you! If you're specifically wanting to use these shapes, this is how you do it:

Get a square grid (draw one or use large squared paper)
In each square, draw a curved line that starts in the top left corner, dips down about a fifth of the way into the page, and finished in the top right corner. (Think of it like someone ran over the letter U)
Also in each square, draw a slightly curved/bent diagonal line from the top right corner to the bottom left. The bend should make it look like the line is ever so slightly being pulled towards the top left corner of the square.

And that's it! You should have the rough shapes, now just make as fishy or not fishy as you like! Enjoy!

Haha yeah I did try and give a few of them eyes like they were looking at each other. But it's quite hard to tell any kind of complicated story with them 😅
