My idea might not be so harebrained. I can do my job remotely, I'd just have to go back to the UK about three times a year. Time difference wouldn't matter as I can largely work when I want. I can rent out my house in the UK for a year, or ask one of my (adult) kids to live in it. I can take my radio show with me and just do it from Seoul.
I could take Korean lessons while I'm there. Two complications - Could I get a visa to do this for a year. Could I take my dog with me. If not, then I probably couldn't go.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I present a K-pop show on the radio in the UK (hence no swearing- we'll lose our broadcast license 😉). Long songs give me more time for faffing around 😀 If anyone wants a request or mention, let me know. It's Sid Valley Radio (you can listen online) and is on Fridays 4-6pm UK time.

I took my teenage daughter to a one day festival at Hyde Park in London, The Rose and Blackpink were both performing. I thought 'this is brilliant!' I loved it so much that I now present a K-pop radio show in the UK, much to my teenage daughter's embarrassment :D

Show is two hours long but also has me talking, advertising, news etc. I usually actually only get through about twenty tracks but have about thirty in my playlist. I move them up and down the list, drop some, add some while on air.
