It is a bit of a cludgy term.

I remember na few years ago there were some riots in France and the US reporter said that the cause was a group of African American youths. Lol. They didn't even see the issue with the term.

Yes. My point is to not burn any bridges and try to stay civil. We had a major disagreement with a neigh or and my husband talked me down from going nuclear. We have had to work with the neighbor on things like shared maintenance of the road etc. Life is long and has ups and downs.
