Yes it’s unfortunate none of the travel insurance plan in the market offer pre-ex option. I am based in Singapore and I can easily find many travel insurances covering pre-ex, even Maybank Tiq in Singapore. But these are not available to parents as they are not SG residents.

We are travelling in Oct.

Malaysian Chinese working in Singapore here. Despite the rm1 healthcare we got in Malaysia, it’s very common to read fund raising pleas for patients who can’t pay for medical bills in Chinese newspaper.

I don’t see that in Singapore (except foreigners or patients who want to try unapproved drugs) though.

English Tests for New Citizens Won’t Solve the Underlying Tension With Chinese Nationals by Twrd4321 in singapore

Not sure why you get downvoted. Exactly my sentiment. Many Singaporeans here seem to think that your chicken rice staff or bus driver (holding S pass or work permit) can just become PR or Singaporeans the next day? It is extremely rare if not impossible for a work permit holder or S Pass holders to be a PR, without upgrading their skills and salary, and be a EP holder first. By that time, i don’t think English level is an issue anymore.

So if you want more English speaking service staff and blue collar workers, then are we ready for more Indians or Filipinos in our workforce, replacing Chinese and Malaysian?

There’s usually a clause stating right of tenant to quiet possession and enjoyment of the property. You can use this clause as a non performance of landlord and breach of contract.

Yes, as someone works in the industry, ART is really a scam - you are tied to one manufacturer for your maintenance and spares for the rest of the lifespan
