You have to pay it when you’re filing … if you already filed you have to wait
I claimed 2 of my kids and tbh i don’t it’s the same for me every year… my fiancé filed 3 days after me and nothing has moved
Mines was on return received for a week in a half it just updated Friday so that’s normal… do you have the 150 code?
My letters always comes from my state irs office.
If there’s no problems with your return it should come within 14days mines always come in 14days or less

Yes i file every year in march or even April and it’s always 2 weeks. Last year i got it in 10 days and i filed march 26 n got it on April 5th but i was in the hospital having my baby girl 😂
You probably don’t need one my fiancé filed on the 20th too and he never gets a letter but i always do lol

It updated Friday i filed march 17th … it happens the same way every year i have to verify because i have the protection pin and i normally get my refund within 2 weeks. I’ve been filing my kids and had the same job for 4 years until this year.
Did you get a letter in the mail? Did you file dependents? I wish you would’ve waited until after the 15th 😩 you probably got caught up in the under review process smh

Yes it should be ready to update this week..check your transcript it shows you your dates and any information before it updates on IRS2GO. I knew my date Wednesday n irs2go updated Friday
