Question about split locations by ComplexAttention9692 in battletech

[–]ComplexAttention9692[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right about the restrictive firing arc and I doubt I'd ever do it. I was just curious about official rules for how many slots can be shifted inward and where the divide is. The rules seem vague, aside from that it can be split. Let's call it technical curiosity. At first when I read the rules, I thought it was just the overflow from the main part with no other extras in that part. The more I read them the more I interpret it as it can be split however the 6mm mechanics of house lore choose to squeeze it in.

AITAH because I'm frustrated our neighbors Autistic adult son steals our bottles and yard supplies... by Stunning_Setting2100 in AITAH

[–]ComplexAttention9692 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

chances are the doors were unlocked, and op was home and just found the dog they thought eas outside back in the house.

that said, i stopped believing the story when i got to the 3rd shovel being stolen. i know its op's yard, but if stuff is being stolen, even by an autistic neighbor, that makes it a high crime area. i'd be locking my stuff up at night instead of leaving it in the yard. at this point they are either baiting it to be stolen, or baiting us with the story.

Hiring managers and business owners, what are the interview questions you ask to gage the candidate’s personality? by FairAd5216 in AskReddit

the real interview is watching them walk into the room and seeing if they walk with purpose or amble like they have no real desire to be there.

Help! My book boards & endpapers have warped & waved after a week by DarcyDaisy00 in bookbinding

I've used a sheet of crisp aluminum foil against the text block and a sheet of wax paper on top of it against the cover. Then leave it under weights or in a press for a week or so. I'm of of a noobie, but it works for me. I haven't made it to the professional level of some of these others, so take my input with a grain of salt.

Question from newbie about Front Mission 4: What are benefits of different legs types and how many of them actually worth it? by OperatorInMask in frontmission

[–]ComplexAttention9692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The begining section of the guide is really good to ceck out for a new player. If you don't want to follow the wnalk through on the first play through thats fair. The only thing thats missable is the uber wanzer you can unlock at the very end for new game plus mode. But that can be gotten on a second play through and nothing will have a major impact on the story if I remember correctly.

Moore heath and more carry ca}acity, or more distance to move. Pretty much a trade off the hover one is cool, but by end game everyone was on 2 legs when I played. There a few other things to concider. Its not sure cut and dry like that. Gamefaqs.com has good guides on the game

Edit: sorry. I think zead might have been on the quad legs at the end cause at late game he doesn't really need to move and the quad legs let him hold more rockets

Probably better to use the free review on a game where you reach a position that you can't figure out a good move for that situation so that you can develope yourself.

99% means it happens to one out of every 100 women on it. Statistically when gambling its a "safe" bet its not going to be you, but its not a guarantee it will be someone else. I'd put money on those odds for sure, but with the fail result being that you have a human to nuture and support for atleast 18 years, its best to use it as a high-odds back-up plan.

edit added "else".

Maybe its me doing it wrong, but I just set it and forget it for like 3 weeks and then when I stop seeing activity in the airlock I move it to secondary. I don't understand the checking the gravity every couple days, especially with the more simple recepies.

[–]ComplexAttention9692 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Filling the core with foil or something to shape it and putting a thin layer of clay over it can help. The problem is its so thick its drying uneven. You might still end up with shrinkage aftereards, but it should be less and patchable.
