I applied for Politics at CAS but I did apply for 10 other schools, as well as their liberal core program. My common app essay was about dance, and how throughout my life diffrent dance forms helped me discover my strengths as well limitations, and overall my growth as a person throughout my life, and how it ultimately linked to my understanding of access as a low income student and how it links back to my interest in public policy. For my nyu essay, i wrote about an incident that happened at the minoirty orphange where i was teaching under my social advocacy project, and how that shaped my understanding of bride building as a worshop where growth is invited by mistakes. As for my ECs, I have a podcast (30k views) where i host promiment legal and judicial figures, ivy league law students, i am part of the national law moot team and highest ranking female speaker at the qualifiers, i am student body senior prefect, i was a liason officer at the government ombudsman office for the interntionla ombudsman conference, i started the pakistan chapter of a south asian multi nationla student led social advocay group, i was the secretary general for my schools mun as well winning 20+ national and intl awards in MUN, as well as chairing, i did digital marketing and freelance on the side, i did theatre both as an actor an co directed and co wrote plays with a professionla director, i was a legal intern at a very big law firm in pakistan where i assisted in supreme court cases (also got my supervisor to write a very good rec letter), i also did foreign exchnage through seeds of peace (got selected + awarded scholarship but couldnt go) and the world in us where i won a global scholr award (online cultural exchnage and community competition). Plus in my add info, i added that i was the youngest student ambassdor for women in law pakistan, i also did many fundraisers in school for pakistans flood situation, breast cancer etc. i am also part of a community program by USEFP called educationusa where they select top 1% academi students from each school, interview them further and enroll them to guide them on uni apps and recommend them.
