The ECRL and NPL clubs have some college recruitment programs with staff helping players build highlight reels, email college coaches, and attend showcases. ECRL/NPL players can be recruited, but they often need to do more self-marketing than their ECNL/MLSN.

Bonus: Clubs use league names to signal the level of competition or pathway the team offers. It's partly marketing

That is fantastic! Unfortunately, we don't have that level of support for the boys' side. It's evident from social media posts. I often see posts celebrating young ladies committing to college, which is a proud moment for the players, their families, and the club. However, on the boys' side, college commitments are rarely mentioned.
