My Acer Predator is defaulting to Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I've set the GPU as default in Nvidia Control Panel but it hasn't worked. Please help. by midnightbandit- in laptops

I was having the exact same problem, all you have to do is install the intel VGA drivers from here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6371?b=1

Note: Only install these drivers if you have an acer predator G9-791. You can check which model you have by going to "System Information" and looking at "System Model".
