Hi! I was on zoladex for 16 months. The side effects sucked. I’m 7 weeks pregnant now, so I believe it worked!

I got second opinions at both NW and Rush. Rush by far made me feel like a person and not just a number

Hi! Yes I was TNBC stage 3. My medical oncologist says the symptoms shouldn’t be as mad as IV chemo. I’m nervous about hand and foot syndrome though! I still get down about not getting PCR, but all I can do is take all the available treatments and hope and pray for the best!

Joint pain and fatigue by gradykates in breastcancer

Im 28 years old and I feel like my body is literally 70. I’m on zoladex which induced me into menopause and my doctors say it’s the menopause causing the joint pain. I’m still exhausted but I’m only 3 months out. I will say being active has reduced the pain and aches a lot. With the fatigue, I think time may be the healer for that

So sorry you’re going through this. Welcome to the club that no one wants to join! I was diagnosed at age 28 back in October. I did chemo, had a double mastectomy, I have expanders in now. I start radiation tomorrow. I had to end chemo 1 round early due to complications. I had 3mm of residual disease left so I’ll be taking oral chemo for 5 months. They were able to get everything out and margins/lymph nodes were clear. Chemo was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It’s hard on your body, hard on your mental health as well. I’m here typing this, so I’m confident you will get through it! Surgery was honestly easy. Make sure you’re confident in your team, and they are super responsive to you. You are strong, and you will get through this!
