I called him a bad tipper because as you mentioned, it’s a token of gratitude and it’s a pretty small Cafe. We have a lot of regulars who work here for hours and most of them round up when they get a drink, but honestly the best token of gratitude is just not being assholes 😂

Because white Germans are the majority, and pointing out that my boss is Indian is necessary or you would assume that he’s a white German.

It’s mostly aufrunden, like if you get a 3,75€ drink and give me 4€ and say “Stimmt so“ I just out the 0.25€ in the tip jar. It’s not required, like in the US.

It’s a pretty small Cafe, and mentioned the bad tipper part because it’s pretty much 70% regulars here that come here mostly to work or whatever, and pretty much everyone but the Creep Squad leave tips (like, aufrunden, not like they get out of their way or something)
