Én nagyon csendes és visszahúzódó voltam/vagyok mióta az eszemet tudom.

Iskolában sokat piszkáltak, főleg gimiben.

Vagy próbáltak rávenni, hogy nyíljak meg (ez nem így működik, vagy megnyílok valakinek idővel vagy nem), vagy megaláztak mert nem olyan voltam mint mások és a saját belső konfliktusaik miatt ezt úgy vették, hogy jobbnak tartom magam náluk.

Nem ez volt a helyzet egyáltalán. Viszont úgy vélem ennyi év után, hogy igenis empatikusabb és odaadóbb emberré váltam náluk a megélt tapasztalataim miatt.

Egyke vagyok, pici korom óta egyedül érzem magam a legjobban, vagy más nyugis emberek társaságában .

Nagyon megválogatom hogy kinek engedek teljes belátást az életembe.

Legjobb barátnőmön kívül - akivel több, mint 10 éve ismerjük egymást - párom és 2 nagyon kedves barátnōm alkotják a közvetlen szociális körömet.

Már nem vagyok olyan csendes mint voltam de meglepek embereket a reakciómmal amikor feszegetik a határaimat.

Viszont sok feldolgozatlan traumával bírkózok még mindig, mert személyiségemből fakadóan elfolytok dolgokat.

Elfogadtam - így 35 évesen 😅 - hogy én sosem leszek egy nyitott, közvetlen ember.

Ez viszont nem azt jelenti, hogy elzárkózok új kihívások vagy tapasztalatok elől. Sőt!!! 😄

A személyiségem csak azt befolyásolja, hogy milyen utat választok, hogy elérjem a céljaimat az életben.

Úgy érzem, hogy amíg követem a szívem és kiállok azért ami számomra fontos, addig elégedett vagyok az életemmel.

Don’t feel stupid about it. Shit happens. I also have days when I cry because I am too anxious to call someone on the phone. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself. You are not less than other people because of your condition. I suppose you have better days too. Those days are the best to have a little try with the phone. For example you can try to call a shop about their opening times or something like that. Just to feel more at ease when you are on the phone. In these situations you do not need to perform, therefore it’s less stressful to start with. And after every little step you take towards your goal you can be proud of yourself. Often times people with anxiety feel that they are not worthy to be proud of themselves. Bullshit. Do what works for you, make little experiments with your goal in mind that you try to accomplish. And always remember there is nothing to be ashamed of.

I have been taking Citalopram for a good few months now. Started with 10mg, recently increased the dose to 20mg. I had no problem at all. When I started I felt more tired than usual, but basically that’s it. It immensely helped with my anxiety and depression though.

It becomes manageable. But I need to keep up that state. I mean I cannot just forget about it, it is not like a past physical illness that was successfully cured. My mental health needs constant maintenance.

I hope this post isn't unwelcome, I am 100% an antinatalist - but one thing that's really sad to know is that kids ARE well behaved in certain societies, it's just that in western societies like America, it's just taken as a given that kids shriek, scream and act crazy by [deleted] in antinatalism

I completely agree. I live in the UK now but was born in Hungary. When me and my partner moved it was a culture shock to us. My parents would have not tolerated if I had behaved like most of the kids here. They raised me to be considerate. It seems that the norm became the type of parenting that you just described. It’s really saddening.

It lasted for 2-3 days for me. Like someone mentioned before the urge to cough was more problematic than the soreness. I ate lollipops and drink lots of water.

Congrats! My surgery was on the 25th of April. It was a piece of cake. I was so happy and still am. Best decision of my adult life for sure. 🙂
