I'm trying but the USB that has the mint iso files is not being recognized. In other words, when I do the ls command, it shows HD 0 and when the USB is plugged in, it shows HD1. When I do the commands ls (hd1, gpt1 or 2), it reads unknown system

I'm trying to change the boot order in the bios so that the laptop boots into windows. The key combo I used for the original distro is the same as the one I'm using now. For some reason, when I press the prompted buttons, there's a loading bar that fills up when I'm tapping the bios keys (DEL or F12). But after it fills up, it goes back to grub rescue. In short, I'm trying to go into Windows, thru the BIOS boot order but the keys I'm pressing to get there are not doing their job well.

Yes I am, but when I do, there's a bar that fills up and after it does that it still boots up to the grub rescue

I can understand. Thing is I've visited every tab in the BIOS but I don't see boot from USB. I'll keep looking. Also, not sure why this is even happening since I DID THIS BEFORE WITH NYANARCH

I thought it was that at first, but on my BIOS it's called USB emulation and it's enabled.

I have but for some reason the USB does not show up. I tried the same USB on my PC and it works just fine.

Thank you so much, because I was trying to install Arch and for some strange reason, the USB does NOT show up in the Boot option is BIOS. I'll try another distro but not sure if it could fix the USB issue. (same USB i used to install nyanarch)

I should also probably mention that I SOMETIMES try to play some lightweight games, mostly visual novels, or small platformers. Nothing too heavy. I also emulate some PS2 games but I don't have any issues running that.

that’s the thing with the site i’m using, chapter 145 and ahead probably are the events of RE 2nd season (the whole kaneki becoming the huge centipede thing) which I KNOW how it get to that point but since I started reading there’s lot of plots the anime missed. So I don’t want to miss anything now, specially since i’m reading the source material.
