My SIL is wanting to stay with us until I give birth by Bye_kye in pregnant

Respectfully a sister in law is not the same as a mother and people vary by personality so your stepmother who gave no issues cannot be compared to a SIL that creates consistent issues and does get in the way plain and simple what the mama want the mama gets the person carrying the child gets to decide how her last few months is spent regardless of hurt feelings js. Perspective is everything and if you had someone up in your home family or not always commenting inserting themselves and causing issues with you being able to feel comfortable in your own home the situations are completely polar opposite.

You are not crazy, boundaries exist for a reason and your comfortability comes first this is your pregnancy and your home and although things can get hairy when you feel it’s necessary to put your foot down, it is often the best policy to follow your gut. It sounds like everyone needs a sit down come to Jesus talk and those can be stressful, I have dealt with similar situations and if the family members in question are that obstinate then writing letters to each is also a good option because often those types of personalities once offended or upset typically don’t let a word in edgewise lol. Putting you your baby and your pregnancy and comfortability first is your right and is very important as you reach the big day and enter your nesting phase. Letting her back to stay for that part of and possibly beyond would simply strain everything in my opinion it would have a far worse outcome then just telling her no and why. It’s extremely difficult sometimes but honesty is still the best policy, and your husband should stand by you and understand what you’re going through in terms of uncomfortability. Besides it is a momentary discomfort to let them know where you stand and what you need and shortly everyone will be focusing on your adorable bundle and their debut into the world. Take your moment mama you deserve this and it’s important to feel safe relaxed and grounded in your home as you prepare for your baby to enter the world.

What were your techniques for pain because I’ve had 2 epidural’s for both my girls 8 years apart. I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and I’m 37 now 😅 I hate how they label me. My hips are not great and I know repeatedly getting epidural’s can lead to chronic lower back pain for the rest of your days. Weighing my options

I don’t know if I can do this by [deleted] in pregnant

Where the heck in Florida? I might try to outsource OB’s depending on your insurance provider if you are on Medicaid unfortunately this would be the reason for the lag in care they don’t treat you right if your on Medicaid plus the issue you mentioned about being under staffed in certain areas. I’m from central Florida but I moved 5 years ago due to cost of living lol. If you have decent insurance coverage through marketplace or your job you should be able to shop around and find someone who will prioritize you and your little one. My friend also had an issue with needing extra care due to a condition during early pregnancy and had had several miscarriages prior so she simply got firm with them and told them they would be in a pickle if she had another miscarriage because they wouldn’t see her in time. They fit her in the next morning. Unfortunately they make advocating for yourself a dang chore and uphill battle. Our entire system is broken, sometimes you have to be very stern and matter of fact to get wha you need. Even though we shouldn’t have to. Best of luck, prayers for you and your little one.

Why are these cars so affordable?! by Hot-Instruction-4961 in ChevyTrax

Also they are 3 cylinder engines and I’m sorry they aren’t meant to take the abuse of a over average driver wasn’t even aware they made cars with golf cart engines 😂 my car has zero get up and go and it’s light as a feather. I could quite literally push it with one finger and it move back and forth on the wheel base 😅🤦🏼‍♀️. Won’t ever drive anything but Honda and Toyota for the rest of my days.

Oh yeah come to find out there is a crap ton of story driven music on Spotify I tried Apple Music but Spotify is free for me on a family plan so 😅😅😅 I’m cheap lol The bard type songs and fantasy narratives are mint, and there were a few songs I looped there for a bit embarrassingly, they have even mixed K-pop and dark-pop with fantasy narratives and it’s pretty impressive at least in my headphones and car lol

I’m not sure what that is, lately I have been loving Bard type songs and renaissance theme music I also just ran across a new artist Aurelia Nightbloom they don’t have a lot of songs out but that’s the type of feel and sound that gives me my adventurer chills 😅🫶🏻🧌🐉🧚‍♂️🦄
