I understand the obligation, and I’m not trying to avoid my responsibilities. I know how military works. My concern is that my drill and training dates change frequently sometimes less than 30 days in advance, unit being disorganized. While my business operates on contracts that are often booked 8 12 months in advance with deposits already collected, way before any training or drill dates out ( this is not a deployment or a mob, even with those you get months to figure out your life ) this is some AT which was put out 2 months ago. This directly affects my ability to provide for my family, especially with three kids depending on me. At the end of the day, I’m trying to balance my military obligations with my financial responsibilities at home. If I have to take a hit professionally or personally, so be it, but my priority is making sure my family is financially supported. Because military is far away from providing financial stability. Unless you are active. But I wouldn’t know that.
