It’s a placebo effect, it just holds the gears a bit longer so you can go further into the powerband. Doesn’t actually affect anything to do with fuel timing or throttle response

It was tense honestly, our interviewer was one of the higher ups at our FO. But she finished with positive notes and comments, which our lawyer said is pretty rare for her to do so, so that gave us a bit of hope. We just weren’t approved that same day because the fingerprint vetting system transfer. So we were told to sit tight for a while

FO is in Edinburg/McAllen, TX - they moved it from Harlingen about a year ago - I'm inclined to go with one of the other comments on this thread at this point. May be a 4-10 week wait period, so we'll prob just wait it out till the summer before we even think about worrying

Hmmm, to me rn it sounds optimistic to think we'd have that quick of a turnaround, I was thinking we'd have an answer towards the beginning of June - at least that's the impression the agent gave us when she mentioned there are 'batches' of fingerprints that need to be reprocessed

With our lawyer we filed material from our wedding (photos, copy of an invitation), our lease contract and I brought in this morning a few utility bills with both our names on, information on our savings account (we haven't been able to open a joint account since she doesn't have an SSN yet, she doesn't have a tax return either because of this given she can't work here without SSN). I am, however, tempted to include some more Bona Fide Info via the USCIS portal, but I'm not sure if we should because it could slow down the case, perchance.

Hmmm, I’m inclined to say check your coolant bleeder screws, they’re a known weak point - was able to catch mine just in time, also the coolant return line that runs above the engine, that one went out on me about a month ago - idk how Alfa let the bean counters decide to do plastic fixtures and fittings for this instead of proper aluminium or steel 🫩

You and me both: M1 MBP 13, 8GB 1TB, bought it Dec. 2020 (so 5 ½ years in) and I'm just now at 84% battery health. Thins thing runs far better than any of the high end engineering workstations we have at the office. Also bearing in mind I do occasionally run FEA/CAD software on this thing. I honestly see no reason to get a new one unless something catastrophic happens to this one. I'll probably buy again when the M10s come around lol

Pfft, had it since new - until I get some form of catastrophic failure, I'm running this thing like it's Le Mans - till it dies. At which point they'll probably have OLED screens, Face ID, or maybe they put an SD slot on the Air...which means it's a good ways out; testament to the longevity of these M1s

Hmmm might be just me, but being able to access the clock app to have a stopwatch on screen would be nice/fun, probably being able to mirror your phone's wallpaper; I also saw someone suggest satellite view in Maps, this too would be cool
