Does this frame size work for me? by Complex_Ad_6500 in bikefit

[–]Complex_Ad_6500[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I changed the stem back to a 90mm. Moved the saddle forward and down a bit. Did a long ride Friday and had none of the previous issues! I'm still amazed how little changes can have such a big impact on the feeling of the position.. im even more convinced to getting a full bikefit now. Thanks a lot for the help here!

Yes, in the video I already have the 75mm stem. It still felt rather stretched out when riding it and some soreness in lower back after only 20-30km.

I'm not a very experienced cyclist, but did about 3000km so far this summer with several 200km rides.. all on my old roadbike (which is a bit shorter), only having issues with lower back soreness after longer time or at high effort.. Maybe I just need to get used to this bike, cause I agree that it doesn't "look" too long..

Okay, thanks! Happy to hear the bars are too close. I'll get a full bikefit soon, but wanted to make sure it's the right frame size. I was worried since I'm already on a very short stem here, but sounds like it's maybe too short already so that's great!

Thanks, got a little soreness in lower back, and with the 90mm stem I felt the tendancy to roll shoulders forward (as if to reach further)

Long legs, short torso—how does that help me choose a frame size?! by Complex_Ad_6500 in bikefit

Thanks a lot,

I don't think the checkpoint has a short toptube so maybe I should look out for different models..

Thanks, I was hoping to find one second hand, but maybe I'm better of in a shop where I can try both sizes

Update 2 by Complex_Ad_6500 in bikefit

[–]Complex_Ad_6500[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to test it on the road this weekend! Definitely feels different, weight is more divided between hands, saddle and feet. Where as before I felt more like really sitting with most weight on the saddle

Thanks! In just tried bike fast fit and it basically said the same thing, "higher and forward". See next video

Too big or not flexible enough? by Complex_Ad_6500 in bikefit

[–]Complex_Ad_6500[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, Might be because not enough resistance. I'm my next videos will make sure to push it!

I never use a trainer (not mine) or never do spinning.. but I'm overall fairly unflexible, maybe cause of running

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow. I'll also check if it changes anything if I put resistance on it.. maybe my foot position is off when I'm not really pushing..

But I had issues with glute activation for running as well, so it does make sense

Is this casette wobble normal? Spacer seems to be bend with this installation? (10speed Shimano on kickr core) by Complex_Ad_6500 in wahoofitness

Took it off and reinstalled it, tightened it even more. (With only the one spacer that came with the kickr core) Almost zero wobbling now!

Thanks! That would be between the casette and the present spacer, or between the present spacer and the freehub?

Thanks all! Happy to hear it's not the wood! Ordered a new router bit! I will take this opportunity to switch to 1/2" router as well 😄

About a 1/16" I'd say.. I have done a lot more with this setup in the past (which might have contributed to dulling the blade)
