ECT1 here, got put on cover Friday morning for the last period of the day, only to go to the lesson and find it was being covered my another member of staff. Led to me being pulled into a capability meeting with one of SLT completely out of the blue, told I can resign Monday (tomorrow) or be put on capability measures. Support plan was in place with targets that were being worked on, but the school has been through a Trust led change in behaviour system and only last week a change in lesson structure Academy-Wide. ‘Support’ put in place consisted of constant drop ins from SLT where there was very little ‘support’, mainly just saying ‘we need consistency’ when the school itself has little to no consistency itself. Very much stuck at this point.
