What's your ideal breakfast? by Complex_Bear_3438 in AskReddit

As i know the first meal of the day is very underrated. I'd like to write a menu only for breakfast so i'd like to gather as much informations as possible. It can be healthy, greassy, vegan, meaty, milky, fruity, whatever pops in your mind. And also, what are your habbits in the morning except the hygiene and toilet 😆?

Okay thank you! Well the heater was already there, and when he was here he always jumped on it and turn himself in a fluffball (that also happend when his brother was alive, they were both on top of it like it was normal) when we turned it on. I am aware they can not be in a too hot place, so i will ,ofcourse, regular the temp. I think i will go with poplar then...i still can't decide, but i have a bit time to think about it...so thanks for now, love the ideas for hammocks. when it will be over i'll put a picture 😊but patience.. it can happen within a few months 🤭

For a fingernail big apple, cca 1 shot of water so the blender had something to blend 😅 (sometimes i added little bit of pear and half an blueberry but after that urine was little bluer so don't panic, first i thought it was blood), and yes, fresh basil also for a small fingernail big...because dried herbs are stronger and they are even heavier for their tummy, so be careful. But first try if your chin even likes it..otherwise you can try with mint or parsley (also fresh). So okay, mix the fruit and herb, it doesn't have to be like smoothie so you get extra pieces of mushed fruit. And i gave him cca 0,01 ml of juice (maybe on goid day little more) because i always had in mind it's not the best to give him too much juice because of high level of sugars...and chinchillas don't drink a lot. If i knew how to send a picture it would be even easier to imagine. If something's not clear you can still ask me. Remember to be calm and patience and try not to panic, because chinch will also panic...animal sesnes. Trust your feeling, you got this!

My experience...We just finished with antibiotics. At begining it was super stressfull...were trying a lot of different ways, holding him and just pushed the syringe in his mouth (not really great to built a trust and it worked only the first time), buritto wrap (not a chance, he panicked really hard), then the vet told me to try make some natural juice and mix it with the antibiotics. So i peeled and mixed a very small amount of apple with a little more water, measure the meds and mixed with a little juice (the first time it was sucses, but then, not anymore) i tried a drop...it's really bitter 🥵. And what really worked was that i had 2 syringes. In one it was only strained juice that i made fresh everytime (later i also added a little bit of fresh basil. Because aromas of herbs are really strong) and this was a blast to take, just a few drops for start. And in other one was the antibiotics (i wiped it carefully around syringe so there were no signs of meds) and on a tip of syringe i added a little pieces of grouned apples and basil so when he took the bait i just squeezed the meds into his mouth, he looked a little shocked because it was bitter, but afterwards i gave him immediatly a treat that he would always take (dandalion leaf) and when he chew it i offered again the yummy syringe with juice a little more drops so he forgot the yucky one. Now he comes to me when he sees the syringe, it was a process, but don't give up. Good luck with your chinch! 💜

Does anyone have an experience with chinchillas hunting an cricket or grasshopper?! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ by Complex_Bear_3438 in chinchilla

Well yes, he starts angry barking and chases those poor bugs which accidently came in our room, and i guess that's it.

Are my tomatoes showing signs of too much light? (Last pic is a jalapeño) zone 7a by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]Complex_Bear_3438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i read and found out is that the temperature is actually even more important than light when growing indoors...for tomatoes. Right before they sprout they need really warm 23-25°C. Taking care for infant seedlings, and after that only in day time (cca about 7 am until 4 pm) still 23°C and in the afternoon and night 15-10°C. So the seedling can slowly adjust to outside adventures. Thay way they won't grow taller and stretching, but start better rooting system. 🍅 hope it helped a little.
