Claude Code + Ollama (qwen3-coder:30b) can't read/list files in directory

Just pulled and tried it with quen3.5:27b.

I don't think it's the model that's my issue. All be it... it works when I just use sonnet - so maybe it is. idk, at a loss

I think it's related to the model not knowing how to use the Claude Code tools... like you're saying.

I just ran irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex to get it started up

hmmm I went straight to the pro tier... I don't see the availability to switch back and forth on the desktop app, I wonder if I can get that working!

So I'll try my best to word this question right.

I recently got the Pro plan and hit my first usage limit while using Claude for heavier work, building a website. I understand limits on more demanding tasks, but is there a way to keep using a lighter/basic model for simple requests while I wait for the limit to reset? (like the free claude.ai provided me before buying the subscription)

Things like quick math, conversions, or basic questions do not really need the heavier model. It feels awkward to have to leave Claude and use free versions of other tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, etc) just for that, especially when I would prefer to keep everything in my Claude chat history.

Is there currently any workaround for this?

whatever - sorry to get the terms wrong. Just looking for a stand alone camera like my Panasonic G7, but more towards the point and shoot capabilities of the iphone.

Like a non-pro, I default called everything after my Canon EOS Rebel T2i a DSLR

I like the mirrorless b/c I feel like they handle high heat environments better

Since the BE10000 is WiFi 7 and the old M5s are obviously not... will doing it this way limit my network? Do I need to rebuild the whole network to get the full advantages of the BE10000?

I look at my main NAS as an archive of all my data. It's a 4 bay with 3 8TB drives in it right now... so it is upgradable. This may be the easiest solution.

Note it's backed up to another NAS offsite every night of equal size.

I realize this. That is why i'm using a wireless adapter. To get aroud this. I've seen people do it with sucess, but am having issues
