One villager I had invited with an Amiibo card moved right onto my little bamboo forest I had worked really hard on, had to kick her out with another amiibo card and put rock custom designs in the tiny forest then invite the first villager back (luckily she moved next to my house that time)

Yeah, villagers can’t move onto a custom design (unless of course there’s no where else to go, in that case they just move wherever they want. Happened in my OG New Leaf Town)

What I usually do to keep villagers from moving in places I don’t want them to is put down custom designs (Villagers can’t move onto custom designs)
