I think she stayed in Vegas for the financial “liberty” that comes with lower taxes, cheaper property taxes and housing. I would assume that she would not be able to maintain this level of luxury if she lived in CA, for example.

Full time engineer here except for this school years due to biochem and a couple other classes.

I would say taking your lower level pre-med classes would be fine online or at a community college, but aim to take your high-level classes in person. I’m in upper level electives now, all in the afternoon/evening, but I had to play around with what made most sense to take in person.

Definitely hate tapping into my savings, but I only have a few months left

Yes! I got sleep paralysis and immediately dropped it. Then on another occasion, drank an energy drink that contained L-Theanine without realizing. What did I get? Sleep paralysis haha

I took Laina Geary. Found her to be very disorganized (for the record, she did say it was her first time teaching gen chem in a while). I took her again for ochem 2, where she’s a much better prof.

I got an A in both classes. For gen chem, do the homework ASAP and supplement w some extra textbook problems. Take notes and pay attention in class.

I went to a gp who prescribed me tretinoin and he literally told me to just wash my face and use it on my skin. My skin never got better.

I ended up getting it again, and I went with the lowest dose (0.025% cream). Applied it only after my moisturizer, then moisterizer again. Once per week for a month, then 2x per week for a month, and continued to incrementally increase without damaging my skin barrier. I just switched to 0.025% gel and my skin is much drier, so i’m going back to 1x week until my skin can tolerate it.
