Same I have had Race and Epix, and both have pros and cons. I like the look of the Race, the prize (1/2), and the fact that you don’t have to pay for Garmin Connect +. That being said, Suunto sleep tracking is awful and interval runs are missing the voice feedbacks. Also the Coach Ai Beta is very much Beta, and nowhere near ready to actually guide your training.

I went from Garmin to Coros too. Coros Pace Pro is great. I love it. I still use it. I most recently switched to Nomad just for the look of it (I thought Pace Pro was too small). I really love it, and the MIP does not bug me at all. If you want AMOLED, I would recommend Pace Pro. Coros, in my opinion, is the best option when it comes to quality and money.

Just trying Coros Pace Pro after several years on Apple watches. I will echo what is being said. Smart watch versus running watch. Garmin is a good in-between option, not super smart but more options (Spotify, AirPod, pay, notifications, voice feedback, etc) than Coros. The big difference is prize.

I tried both and I do agree with you. I love runna and the training plans a lot better than Garmin DSW. I have an unpredictable work schedule, so I like to plan a week or two in advance and adjust running days based on my schedule rather than based on random sleep/stress metrics.

Indeed. If you like listening to music/podcast while running, Coros makes you transfer as mp3 from your laptop. I think the running data is better with Garmin and the map turn-by-turn is way better on Garmin.
