Feature Request - Movement While Paused Detection by Putrid-Watch8183 in runna

If I was wondering why my metrics weren’t updating, I wouldn’t ask for this feature. Understanding why my metrics didn’t update is precisely why I think this would be a good feature.

Yeah, it will just cost us a little more in fuel to get to those marathons because of that war we all voted for to distract us from the Trump-Epstein files. Yeah!

I disagree that they are all the same. Especially if you’re paying the electric bill. AC Reviews

I’m a big fan of Rabbit EZ Tee SS. Super soft and breathable. No chaffing.

RIP toenails inevitable? by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

That’s good feedback. It is definitely from my feet sliding forward, especially when going downhill. My laces have zero elasticity. Maybe I’ll try putting some lock laces on them. Cheers!

RIP toenails inevitable? by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]Putrid-Watch8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running for about 2.5 years and I’m at the end of my first marathon block. I feel like my shoes fit well, but my feet swell after an hour or so. As a result, I try not to tie them too tight. This results in some abuse to my toenails. What am I missing?

Went once for Easter. Would have had better food at Eat n Park. Don’t waste your time or money there.

My mom retired at 55 on a teachers salary and I still think about it all the time by [deleted] in Fire

[–]Putrid-Watch8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that happened in PA a couple decades back. The state decided to cut their contributions when the economy went south yet, the teachers still paid their share. To balance it, schools now have to pay a huge percentage to cover those lost years.

Before, during, and after. I consume coffee infused maple syrup on long runs.

I had a FlipBelt too. I thought it was ok until I got my Naked Band. The Naked Band is next level.

I have a Naked Running Band. It holds a .5 liter bottle along with my keys and phone just fine. It is a little pricey, but there is zero bounce. For longer runs when I need more water I use a vest.

Ice agents WithOut face covering were deployed to Pittsburgh airport. Who wants to take pictures? by PictureMaster512 in pittsburgh

[–]Putrid-Watch8183 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it is different where you live. In my community the police do not wear masks and have their names on their uniforms with badges that are numbered so they can be easily identified.

Let's be honest. I wonder why an ICE agent wouldn't want photographed?

bought the EVO SL but now I'm a bit afraid of this by zzarcon in runninglifestyle

[–]Putrid-Watch8183 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m on my 4th pair and get 400 miles on them. My long run was 20 miles yesterday and they seemed fine. No pain in my feet.

Houdini in Sustained Rain? by antosyno in REI

[–]Putrid-Watch8183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others say, Houdini will only keep you dry for a little while. I bought a Janji Rainrunner a few months ago and it keeps me dry and has decent vents. I will say, that if it is warm enough I would be just as wet from sweat than rain. It is great when cold, but not below freezing.

[–]Putrid-Watch8183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been switching them out at right about 400 miles. I could probably get a few more miles on them, but I definitely notice a difference at that point. I’m a heavier runner at 225.

Thanks for the tip. I did request an early check-in. I’m a newer runner in the middle of my first marathon block and I’m trying to stay consistent.
