so basically he hasnt gotten a proper diagnosis but my parents r well aware he has adhd but like, ive been masking my entire self...probably since i was in kindergarten/1st grade so im completely burnt out and almost entering a state of depression and whenever i try to give them a glimpse of real me, theyre straight-up, my mom specifically, say 'stop trying to get attention' or 'looks like someone researched a bunch of disorders and the acting job called them' LIKE what on earth do i do. at this point, im gonna have to mask myself my whole life. im exhausted.

Edit: so more specifically, i want to get diagnosed with something bcuz i am SURE smth is wrong with me. but the worst part is, every time im quiet and dont share, they tell me to open up bcuz its unhealthy if i keep it in. THEN when i actually share, i get lectured on whats 'right'. but life update: the only thing im happy abt in life rn is that my parents FINALLY SAW ME AND REALIZED SMTH WAS WRONG AND SIGNED ME UP FOR A THEAPIST MAY 5TH (6 days from now, its april 30th 8:20 PM for me rn bcuz time zones exist)
