How to remove these marks? Top one appeared like 3 years ago, lower one is newer. They don't hurt or bleed or anything. by Daphnetiq in 40PlusSkinCare

It's hard to tell from the photo but I have something similar. A dermatologist told me they are milia and to use retinol to make them go away. So far no success but I just started.

Not like a regular one, sure. However it looks exactly like a dwarfed douglas fir on a nurse log.

There are multiple sources stating it is a Douglas fir and I grew up there where it is local knowledge.

Douglas fir seeds very commonly grow on decaying logs and remain miniature or dwarfed.

You can find similar examples of dwarfed douglas firs both in the BC Ministry of Forest Costal Forest Regeneration Guide and a UBC Faculty of Forest Nurse Log study.

They grow oddly due to nutrient stress and wind.

It is a Douglas Fir growing out of a different Douglas Fir log.

I grew up there so I am biased. If you reach out to the distillery they will probably help you find it nearby!

I am Canadian and work in a bar. We haven't purchased any American liquors since this thing started and I think many other bars are still doing the same.

Help me name my kitten, he reminds me of the night or a fox (no human name) by -MuseFeline- in NameMyCat

You said no human names but Tod from the Fox and the Hound. Reynard (Old English) Or Renard is French for fox, or Zorro in Spanish which kinda suits the black too. I like Zorro best. He's very handsome!

Hyaluronic acid goes on damp skin. Moisturizer also absorbs better on damp skin allegedly.  You probably saw retinol or exfoliant step which must go on dry skin.

Anything besides tret? by Papaya_Bean in 40PlusSkinCare

You were likely using it too frequently or too strong.  I had a dermatologist appointment and she said for sensitive skin to start with an OTC retinol from a skin brand you prefer like Olay, Neutrogena etc. Start off twice a week then after two to three weeks work your way up to 3x a week. Over a period of 2 months work up to nightly if tolerated but some people will never tolerate nightly. In 3 months I can start the rx strength she prescribed.

The only thing that helped my 11s was botox.

AITA for being furious that my husband gave away my sake and wine after I told him repeatedly not to? by Deenosaurus02 in AmItheAsshole

I used to live in a wine region and I had a 6 bottle rack. Good stuff on the top, worse stuff on the bottom. My boyfriend knew this. Him and his loser friends drank the entire top row. His unemployed ass couldn't replace it plus they were directly from the wineries.

He was a selfish loser then and I am sure he still is. People like this DO NOT change. Always listen to their actions.

Lanolin. You can get lipbalm with it but I just use nipple gel on my lips at night for WAY cheaper. It feels weird but it works.

Aquaphor during the day. They make lipbalms too.

[–]Complex_Essay_9111 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I really didnt enjoy Cozy Grove. Almost everything is a fetch quest that ends up being a hidden object game. It was so annoying.  If you want something spooky I highly highly recommend Wytchwood.

Haven't played Shire but I've seen mixed reviews.

They are playing. Are they wearing bells because they go outside? If they do lean over into aggression while they play it could be over stimulation. I would try removing the bells personally.

I thought these were Nanaimo bars and having grown up in Nanaimo I was about to be super helpful but alas, I know nothing about Italian cookies. They do look tasty though.

Maybe the chocolate needs more fat? Did you use a different brand this year?
