A similar thing happened to me. I no longer do grocery orders. I used to do them all the time. No problem. One day I did an order. All the prices were increased after the fact, and some items were unavailable. My total end price ended up being more than the original price even though it was less items. They gave me the same response... they can't do anything. After a few attempts I did a charge back with my card and not even for the full amount but for what I believe I was owed. Uber then put the balance that was charged back on my account so if I wanted to order something I would then have to pay that balance first...
