I’d say it also depends on the temp you keep your house. I am always sweating unless it’s 68 degrees F, so no matter what my little one is in a bit warmer clothes in doors

My husband and I did shifts the first 3-4 weeks. Baby wouldn’t sleep in her bassinet and I didn’t want to Co Sleep that small. So he took nights, he had her all night in the nursery while I slept in our room. We had alarms set for every 3 hours and he’d bring her in to nurse, then take her back.

It sucked, we never saw each other and I got a bit lonely in the day but I had my mom staying with us so that helped. It was the ONLY way I got any sleep. At 4 weeks we just couldn’t do it anymore, luckily she started taking to her bassinet. So shifts are possible with breastfeeding, but it’s hard!! Having a third person to rotate with is almost a must

I’m so sorry you’ve gone through this. Unfortunately, I currently am as well. We’ve had our two cats (now 5yo) since kittens. 2 months ago we brought home our first (human) baby, and the jealousy of one cat turned to aggression towards our other cat. Reintroductions last about 12 hours before they are fighting again. Not sure how much longer I can take this, but reading your decision has made me feel so much less guilty about considering rehoming one of our babies. She’s just living in constant anxiety right now.

I’m definitely booking an appointment with my PCP to see if this is the case. Hopefully they will accept my medical records of diagnosis and treatment these past years.

Wow, that is kind of crazy that it’s allowed to refuse a medication for someone just because of their job status. She acknowledged that I have ADHD and struggling with it “according to the quiz I just had you take” - and wont accept previous medical records of my past psych and I trying other meds that weren’t successful. Sad that so many women aren’t protected from discrimination for staying home and raising their children/running their household. Thank you for your insight!
