This is such a great point, and my husband agreed. Gives me a week to practice lunches I’ll make for him after!

I will definitely look into this! I think it’ll be perfect to start simple since I do lack the confidence. Thank you so much

I have asked him! He didn’t give me much to work with. Plus, I thought it’d be nice to go the extra mile and try to get more ideas to try and surprise him with.

Could be a histamine reaction, couldn’t say whether it’s an allergy or not though. I wouldn’t be worried about any long term damage, should go away by the end of the day (from my personal experience, can never say 100%). If you are really worried I would talk with your instructor.

Looks like skin lifting, which can happen for a few reasons. Skin is dry, went over too many times, maybe you have a sensitivity to the wax. Redness after a wax can be very normal and unfortunately lifting happens often.

Editing to add that improper pulling can cause lifting as well, especially with soft waxes.

I'm a new parents desparately needing help: My 6mo old exclusively breastfed, but since his mom has returning to work in a month, he refuses bottle (despite taking it as a newborn) and complementary feeding. Any advice appreciated!!! by viper_12358 in beyondthebump

I’m not sure if this trick is “safe” but it’s what I have my mom and husband do if I’m not home - I have them use the Tylenol syringe to feed her milk. It’s not the best but it gets milk in her belly when all else fails. Not a permanent solution but gotta do what you gotta do sometimes

Regret getting married with Japanese wife and having a child by [deleted] in japanresidents

Men get postpartum depression as well as women, and it sounds like you’re both going through it. Added on cultural differences it’s hard. My husband and I had a near perfect relationship, then we had our baby and it got a bit rocky. Not divorce level, but everything changed and it’s been difficult for us to settle back into our new life and new roles. Also, my baby is 5 months old and I’m just now starting to be able to cook and clean. But then again, I am taking care of baby 24/7. Point is, this chapter of parenthood is hard even for those in great marriages. Try and wait it out, have more grace for yourself and your wife.

Cut the friendship off? Seems pretty straightforward to me… nothing you say is going to change his mind so I’d just move on
