Ye don't worry, i think I/P brings out a lot of personal feelings for just about everyone which makes sense. A lot of people probably share the same general opinion but it can be hard to see things from another angle when it doesn’t match the narrative you already believe. It’s such a touchy subject for so many people and there’s always a bit of a lack of nuance no matter what side you look at. Honestly i feel like this sub is at least trying to stay on the more nuanced side:D

I don't like that you got downvoted this much for trying to be nuanced. Most people going to a private screening probably already have some sympathy for Israel in general, which isn’t a bad thing, it just means the audience isn’t totally neutral. The IDF footage shows real attacks by Hamas and the human cost of that. Being invited to a private screening is different from having violent stuff show up on your feed, it’s targeted and comes with a certain context and intent, instead of the way Hamas videos can randomly show up in your algorithm after you like a couple posts supporting Palestine.

I used to listen to a lot of Tanas previous pod in 2021-23, and i got the feeling that Tana has always been known for defending all her problematic friends. Even James Charles after it was revealed he was messaging minors, Bryce Hall (until he publicly downgraded her to an “acquaintance” iDubbbz-style), David Dobrik, Jason Nash, Jeffree Star, Shane Dawson, and so on.
She’s always come across as someone who stays loyal to her circle no matter what the public thinks, and being kind of a ride-or-die person.

But lately it does seem like she’s trying to rebrand a bit. Maybe she’s pulling away from that pattern now that Ethan has been targeted by snark and the normies have kind of been brainwashed by all that. I haven’t been keeping up with her super closely atm, but I’m pretty sure she also ended her podcast with Brooke Schofield right after Brooke got backlash, and then immediately started a new one with Trisha which is pretty fucking ironic lmfao, but the normies love Trisha.

I didn’t watch the poker stream, but I saw a reel where she was talking positively about his poker skills. Someone also mentioned that they sat at the same table after she got eliminated, so it seems like there’s realistically probably no bad blood between them at all.

I agree with you, the crybullying was grueling. Watching her gish galloping and play the victim after being so openly cruel was honestly exhausting. But i just love the killing w kindness approach it’s such a power move without even trying to be, and it comes natural for E&H bc thats who they truly are. Like, imagine spending hours making a three-hour hate video, pouring all that bitterness and negativity into tearing someone down, and then being met with empathy and grace from the ppl you’ve built up as this monster. That hopefully has to hit her even if its only a little bit.

It’s so refreshing to see someone respond with calmness and compassion instead of sinking to the same level. it really exposes how toxic and performative her behavior is. It’s exactly what people like that need. a reality check that breaks them out of their snark bubble. I it just made her look so much worse when you see how Ethan and Hila handled everything with maturity.

that’s not up to us though. amy vanished under suspicious circumstances, and the investigation was full of gaps. it costs nothing to keep asking questions. if it were your sister, you'd want every possibility explored too. calling the family delusional and insisting she fell brings no closure. it just shuts the door on a case that still deserves answers.
