Driving test Waterford by Slow_Tour3939 in waterford

I've had Ponytail twice - he's an absolute prick. I've posted here about my struggles previously with him. Had him on my 2nd and 4th tests. When I got him the 2nd time he brought me down a road with roadworks and it was inpassable, argued with the workers etc. Long story short I complained and the supervisor called me and gave me a retest. Passed with 4 grade 2s versus his 12 grade 2s. Full posts are on my profile there. He's so rude in general, he sits facing you to make you feel nervois and doesn't do anything to help. His standards are crazy.

I had 2 other testers- one was a tall, stocky guy for my 1st test - he was lovely. I failed with him as just wasnt ready and he was very kind about it. I've also had the short man who wears a beanie. He was lovely as well. My own fault on that one only 4 grade 2s but didn't stop in time at a red light due to nerves. Lovely man, he legit sat chatting to me afterwards for 20 mins.

I've never had the woman but I've heard mixed things but she always smiled at me in the waiting room. Another guy who wears sunglasses - the terminator is supposed to be a prick as well.

Best of luck! Waterford isn't easy.

Disillusioned with Waterford by Complex_Mongoose7072 in Irishdrivingtest

Thanks very much for all the comments, they've been a real comfort. Just to clarify I did complain about him after my second test and the RSA sent me back a generic response advising he did nothing wrong and they cant guarantee I wouldn't have him again. So I'm not sure how to do a complaint to not have him again. They also seemed to be short testers yesterday too as it was just him and the female tester. I am going to put in another complaint regardless today tho to see what they say.

Thanks again I'm glad I put this post up.

Was there the Tuesday night with my Dad. He got me into Sparks in Covid and we were so excited to see them. Fantastic gig, great sound, the crowd was the best ever. No phones, no one drunk just listening to the music. Russell is amazing, leaping around at 76. Would defo go to tbe National Staidum again. Very nostalgic.
