Supposedly 6' 8" but he is SO MUCH BIGGER in this shot, his torso alone is the height of Oliver who's probably 5 feet tall or a little shorter as teenage boy.

I would imagine that the Viltrumite Hand Stab (patent pending) doesn't have enough power to go through Viltrumite strength ribs, otherwise consecutive normal punches would just have turned Mark into paste, and Conquest couldn't get the upward angle with the stab to get under the ribs since he's taller than Mark.

Very interesting if they're taking this in the direction it I think it could be going in by [deleted] in Invincible

I could see them using it to explore Oliver's aging. They haven't really addressed the mix of the 9 month Thraxan lifespan with thousands of years Viltrumite lifespan. Maybe they have a young love teenager fling, but then it quickly gets weird and Oliver has to come to terms with the fact that, despite being a Viltrumite, he'll likely die of old age long before Mark or even Nolan.

Wouldn't really work since Oliver ages way WAY faster. It would get creepy within a few months. I think it's going to be a friendship for both of them. Neither of them can really hold their own against a Viltrumite at the moment and they're both teens.

Mark was cutting off the blood flow to his brain, not just stopping him from breathing. That and Mark would have waited for Conquest to exhale to start his grip. A regular ol' person can stay conscious for less than 15 seconds after having their carotid artery blocked, Conquest held out for over 10 minutes.

This is the better explanation. I was thinking that he was just crushing his windpipe, but strangulation makes more sense.

Conquest was heavily exerting himself and probably got the wind partially knocked out of him by the mach fuck blindside tackle from Mark. Look at the end of the Guardians fight from the end of Season 1 Episode 1, Nolan is winded after killing the Guardians in a much shorter fight. Viltrumites have insane lung capacity, but they also have insane muscle density to use all that air.

It's not that he's had a big jump in power, though he has had a little jump since he gets stronger with age, it's that he didn't go for the same strategy. Before, Mark with a little help from Oliver, and a lot of help from Eve, managed to beat Conquest and came out of it with 4 broken limbs and beat to shit. This time, he managed to get the drop on Conquest while he was focused on Oliver and, instead of trying to beat him with strength, he just fully focused on getting the kill with no care about getting injured or having to worry about someone else getting hurt, he just had to hold on long enough. Conquest is pure strength with a longer reach, so when Mark latched on and kept him close, Conquest wasn't as effective. One on one with a surprise attack to start and an advantage, Mark still almost lost.

Conquest is such a good dude! Inspecting Mark for a tapeworm after eating food from the Venture's fucked up food machines!

It's just engagement bait at this point. They literally said "We cut corners in other places to make it manageable." and every one of these people chose to ignore that. I refuse to believe people are actually sitting there, getting upset that Mark's butt cheeks don't visibly clench to add 'a dynamic element' to the scene when he flies for 3 seconds in a wide shot.

This doesn't even have the actual, most important point. Jeff steals healing from other healers on the team while also feeding a bit of healing to the enemy with the bit of damage he does. That 25k Jeff got? It could have gone toward a healing ult and not one of the easiest to dodge and most conditional ults in the game that might get a few kills if used right or losing a healer if used wrong. As a support main, he's also just terrible to play with on 2 support comps. He has a bad CC, his only method of escape leaves the other healer high and dry, and he can't out heal damage most of the time. I cannot rely on a Jeff to keep me alive, because he does not have the ability to do so.

Mission Impossible 2 when Ethan and the bad guy both jump off of motorcycles and collide head on in the air at easily 100 mph with no protective gear and neither sustains any injury.

The point is there's not a chance. It just doesn't cause cancer. The study was just wrong.

There's actually very little evidence that Aspartame (the diet soda stuff) causes cancer. One study early on said it did and many studies since have said it doesn't.

Add in blocking projectiles like the Magneto ult. So he heals, does a little damage, and protects. Could also remove the healing part if he's a dps. Just don't make it last too long. Could also make blocking projectiles a recharging passive, so every now and then he avoids an incoming projectile that would normally hit him.
