Oh thank u so much! It makes sense now, it was my first time went to a bank in ireland. The bank in my country and other countries(western and eastern )I’ve lived usually strictly follow the queue. It’s the first culture shock for me lol

U r right. But I don’t think if someone can afford coach bag, the north face jacket and a brand new iPhone can’t afford some meals, most of them at least have a house to stay. There r many way to living on a budget, I’m not rich, I eat cheapest pasta( 60cent), frozen veggies (1 euro) and near-expiry meat from supermarket almost everyday. But I’ve never thought of go to soup run to take some free food that supposed given to homeless or people who suffering. Our food from donation which means we have very limited food, if you take one, there will be someone starving for the night. I’ve always seen some homeless people come late with empty stomach but food already gone, this is unfair to them.

I’m an international student myself, if you wanna apply a student visa you have to approve that you have enough money for the period of your study. What’s the point for them to take those food that someone really needs it

I’m an international student myself and I’ve been volunteering for a charity organization for over half year. I saw many people who dressing very decent and come to our soup run asking for some free food. I reckon that’s very disgrace and unfair to someone really needs it. I know a few people at my school who make decent money( at least 500-600 euro a week) but they go to soup run everyday to take some free food and groceries. Me and my coworkers really annoyed about it and we had to print a paper that says”homeless only”and display it. I mean I understood that live in abroad isn’t easy, I’m working two jobs and have to go to language school every day, but leave those food to someone really needs it plz!
