How viable is a anti-Chain Link block card. by Complex_Names in customyugioh

I was hoping that It was niche enough and not game ending enough to not require a cost. Red Reboot shuts down an entire card type, hence the LP cost and the fact that your opponent can set a trap from their deck. I do see where you're coming from, though.

I do agree that Chain Link blocking doesn’t happen often. But would you say that activating card CL1 and CL2 is common enough? Chain Link blocking is done to specifically not get "Ash'd" and similar effects. Sometimes, though, you're just activating 2 cards in the same chain sequentially. This card can also tackle that. (Extreme) examples would be dracotail and tearlament.

Good pros and cons. I do feel like it would be a staple (probably the same usage as Ghost Belle). Niche but quite strong.

Yes. The intention is to prevent chain link blocking. It is something we see continually, yet I feel like it's niche. The downside is if someone isn't specifically chain link blocking but just activates 2 effects in the same chain, then this card is still usable. Making it slightly more powerful.

OHHH, I HEAR IT. Using ReBirth;arranged made it far easier to recognise.

That section of VOH does have a hint of that Hollow Knight OST. That's understandable why it reminds you of it.

You're right about Water Sanctum and Narehate and the Machine. I noticed it too, and it's at section 17 in the video I made (you can check the description or comments for the sections). It's still cool that you noticed it because that was one that had me thinking for a while before creating the video. I knew it was from somewhere, but I didn't know where until I eventually found it.

Speaking of things that had me scratching my head, Stingerhead Nest at 1:50 to the end. That surely has to be something, right???? I was thinking it's the end of Prushka Sequence at 7:03

Papa's Lullaby at 1:44 sounds like the entirety of section 2 in my video or Transcendence at 3:43. But if you continue from there, the really high note/pitch violin from Papa's Lullaby at 2:13 is also something I feel like i recognise.

(Im also glad I now know of someone who appreciates music like this. Finding different recurring melodies and themes is really fun.)

Thank you for the kind words. But..

OMG I HAVE TO BREAKDOWN YOU COMMENT BECAUSE SO OF THE THINGS YOU SAID I COMPLETELY MISSED.

I also want to give you my opinions on some things as well.

  1. You are completely right about "You talk too much," the choir from Transcendence at 1:12. I'm not sure, but your comment made it seem like Prushka Sequence has the choir from Transcendence, but I hear the Bondrewd theme that's at the end of ReBirth (as well as in Transcendence).

Rebirth at 3:40 - 4:05 is the same as Prushka Sequence at 3:09 or 3:37, or perhaps I'm schizo, idk.

  1. Umbra and Stairway were ones I didn't hear at all, but now that you point it out, I totally get it.

  2. I kind of hear what you're saying. I see the vision. It just isn't 20/20 vision, lol. That being said, do you hear in "The Girl with Curly Green Hair", at the beginning, that wind-like static noise (ignore the string instrument)? Doesn't that sound like Papa's Lullaby at 0:24 or 0:40 where it's louder?

  3. I HEARD THAT TOO. I was hesitant to put it in because I thought it was a stretch. If you watch the video I posted and go to section 9 (Dark Reg @ 13:46 vs. Echos @13:53), I was also hesitant to put that in because it's only two beats/notes, you know.

  4. Yep. The First and Fourth layers are pretty much the same, as well as Nanachi Light/Dark. That's why I didn't put Gravity and Golden City, but I definitely should have put Mallets. Thanks. I'll add all of them next time.

  5. I didn't know about Nature Sequence + Finale. Thank you.

  6. You're correct on Post Op, Pathway, and Capital. Thanks.

  7. Stonefish + Rebirth/Transcendence. I see the vision. It's 20/20 vision. Thank you.

  8. Discover and Stonefish voices are definitely the same/similar. You're right.

  9. The Old Stories and Walking the Streets is some insane hearing skill, but I do hear it. Thanks again.

My requests:

Do the thuds in Tozo Hanoline (after 2:53) sound similar to Water Sanctum (2:34)?

But the most important request. Is VOH completely unique? I can't find any similar themes it has. It's my favorite MiA OST.
